Having been in-charge for Transcosmos sales and marketing initiatives for several years now, you can only imagine how many things go through my head every single day. Apart from keeping up with the latest marketing trends, I have to spread myself thin in reaching out to different regions (EMEA and APAC) to ensure our staff and clients are satisfied.
Being in the IT industry, we need to keep abreast to all IT-related information, including the productivity apps I am about to share in a few. There may be a plethora of productivity apps out there but the ones I will be mentioning help me along the way. In short, I realized, I am not Superman and I actually need help in this web-centric world!
So, if you find yourself distracted all the time, download these 10 productivity apps in your phone, stat!

Dropbox app has saved my life tremendously.  This app is downloadable both on Android and iPhone handsets. This app helps you organize your important files and you can also easily share the file by giving a designated link.

Let’s face it: ideas come out when we are in the bathroom, walking down the alley, or while traveling going home or just out of nowhere! This app allows you to bookmark all the sites you want to read for later and it also allows you to write and categorize your ideas accordingly.

This app is so brilliant as it helps you write your or team’s to-do list for the day or even for weekly tasks. If you are on the go, try downloading this wonderful app and stay organized even if you are at a supermarket or attending a Parent Teacher meeting.

Organizing and keeping all the passwords is critical.  If you are looking for a well-diverse app for password management, 1Password is suitable for you.  Now that everything is web-based, losing the password to your most visited online resource for work is really a hassle. This is another spectacular app that lets you set a timer to complete specific tasks. Not only does the app help you conquer your tasks for the day, but will also give you a better idea on how to make use of your time.

It acts as a calendar and is a to-do list tool – keeping your entire schedule and list intact. This app garnered a lot of positive reviews because of how helpful this app is.  This is a task management app that is perfect for someone who needs to share tasks virtually.

Of course, my list wouldn’t be complete at all, if I didn’t include Hootsuite.  This is perfect for any social media related tasks.  Instagram was recently added to this platform, which I think is a great idea. You can add up to 3 social media accounts for Basic (free) but you can add more social media account should you decide to get the higher plan.

I may look busy at all times, but I’ve always believed in the mantra: working in balance. With that said, I made sure I’m giving quality time with my family, as well as, essential time to finish all my tasks and coordinate with work colleagues with these productivity apps.
Basically, these productivity apps have been my arsenal in knocking out tasks efficiently.
Just like what Stephen Covey said, “The key is not to prioritize what’s on your schedule, but to schedule your priorities.”
